Alaska Rag Company weaves recycled clothing into beautiful hand-woven items. We have a number of woven items in our store to choose from, or have your own rug made to your specifications!

Runners

Bring in your upholstery samples, paint chips, or other colors you are trying to match and we will weave you a rug that ties all of the colors in your room together.

Bring in your child's old soccer uniforms, clothing from a loved one that has passed away, clothing from a different era that you can't part with, and have us weave a rug that has special meaning to you.

Placemats

We can make matched sets of rugs, table runners, and placemats that give your home a special "put-together" look.

Our rugs come in 2', 3', 4' and 5' standard widths. We can make them just about any length.

Our table runners are approximately 12" wide. We can make them to your specified length so they will float in the center of your table or hang off each edge...you decide!

Mug Rugs

Our placemats are approximately 12 inches top to bottom and 16 inches side to side.

These little "mug rugs" or coasters are the perfect thing to keep your table clear from stains. They are approximately 5 ½" square.

Please ask us about custom-color and keepsake rugs.

Prices may vary depending on materials used. Weaving time may vary depending on size, available colors, etc. A $5 set-up fee will be added to rug orders of a width that is not a standard size as listed above.

Our rugs are made from recycled clothing and materials.

Washing instructions:
Wash in a tub with lukewarm water. Gently agitate until clean.
Rinse in lukewarm water. Roll in towel to absorb moisture. Lay flat to dry.
